Changelog
What shipped, and when
The cheapest proof that an app is maintained is a public record of its releases. This one starts where the record does — the exact App Store date for 1.0 was never written down, so it is listed without one rather than guessed at.
-
A security and polish release.
- Strengthened protection for PIN-locked albums against repeated incorrect attempts.
- Added a confirmation step before deleting an album, so a stray tap can no longer wipe out an organised folder by accident.
- General reliability improvements.
-
The first public release.
- AES-256 encrypted vault for photos, videos, and documents, with the key held in the iOS Keychain.
- Face ID, Touch ID, and passcode unlock, plus per-album PIN locks.
- Albums with custom covers, nested to any depth, and a built-in private camera.
- Decoy vault, intruder capture, and encrypted backup and restore.
- Localised into 10 languages.
Running an older version?
Updates arrive through the App Store like any other app. LockBox v1.1 is current, and updates never touch what is already in your vault.
